Recently I had the opportunity to be involved in a challenge to write a piece of 'flash fiction'—an ultra short story with a specific prompt or topic, this one to raise money for charities involving children. For every story turned in, a donation was made. I'm proud to say the challenge was a huge success, and 30 stories from authors all over the globe have been collected in an E-book anthology which is now for sale in various places for a very modest price.
